- Course objectives
- The course follows-up to the course “History and theory of photography in the 19th century”. It focuses on names, dates movements and tendencies which played a significant part in the period. Moreover, a special attention is paid to major theoretical concepts and interpretative shifts of the period.

Documentary photography in the US and the concept of humanist photography 4. “Conservative photography” of the 20th century 5. Photography in the second half of the 20th century – selected tendencies 6. Digital photography/digital image 7. Subjective documentary, staged photography etc. 8.
