Course objectives
The course is taught in Modern Greek. The main aims of the course are: developing basic communicative abilities in Modern Greek; practice of grammatical phenomena and topics dealt with in Modern Greek Grammar IV (lessons 29-39 of the Basics of Modern Greek); At the end of the course, students will be able to actively communicate in Modern Greek. They will be capable of producing a text concerning discussed topics. They will be capable of understanding Modern Greek texts which deal with the discussed topics.
Syllabus
  • Conversation topics: Greek radio and television, 17 November 1973, Greek language - neologisms and archaisms, Greek songs and music, curriculum vitae, application form, Greek book market, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, Greek community in the Czech Republic.
  • Independent oral and writing practice. E-learning - grammar and vocabulary tests.
