Course objectives
The work of librarians and information professionals is closely related to copyright. Activity in the library and information environment is limited in other areas, therefore there will be presented other laws, such as the protection of personal data and information society services.
At the end of the course the student will understand legislative restrictions on work with information, especially in the issue of copyright and he will be able to deal with minor legal problems in this area in library and information practice.

Attendance is required in terms for combined studies, it is only recommended. Activities on practice may make up half of the final assessment.
Written test (2 parts: 1. theoretical, 2. solving of one example problem).
