Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to revise and consolidate what students have already learnt, and to develop and extend their knowledge further. The course should prepare the students for the AJ11010 Zkouška z anglického jazyka in the second year and the PE part of the Bachelor's Examination.
Syllabus
  • 1. Choose the test and sign up for it in the Elf (read About the course in the Elf course) 2. ONE of the following textbooks Destination: Units 21-26 or NCAE: Units 1-10 or 11-20 or NPTP: Units 1-6, 7-12 or 13-18 3. Study regularly every week and do the respective tests in the Elf. The pass/fail line is 70%. 4. Study the sets of Hot Potato Exercises: Collocations and Phrasal Verbs 5. Sit the Final test from the chosen part + the HotPot exercises (details to be specified later).The pass/fail line is 70%.
