Course objectives
Graduates of the course latin II have to acquire a knowledge of grammar and vocabulary from the textbook latina pro posluchače FF, Units 1-16. They are expected to be able to translate an easy text from Latin into Czech or, consulting a dictionary, a light passage by a classical author.
Syllabus
  • Graduates of the course Latin II have to acquire a knowledge of grammar and vocabulary from the textbook Latina pro posluchače FF, Units 1-16. One semester covers Units 9-16. Grammar will be explained, exercises made and revisions included.

Teaching methods
grammar is explained, exercises and revision lessons are included
Assessment methods
written test consisting in identification and translation of 10 verbal forms, 10 syntagmas subst.+ adj./pron./part., and 10 Latin clauses (lections 1-16 of the manual, minimum pass level 60%; oral examination focusing on Latin grammar regular attendance is required
