- Course objectives
- Student acquires basic ability of using pasively his previous knowledge of Chinese characters, grammatical patterns and vocabulary in an interpretation of Japanese texts of intermediate level; he/she is able to actively use basic methods of text interpretation, develops his/her knowledge of specifics of written Japanese; at the same time he/she enriches his/her vocabulary and through the texts deepens his/her understanding of the Japanese society and culture.

- Practise in reading and interpreting texts.
- Assessment methods
- Final examination in the form of a written test will check the students’ knowledge of the semester’s curriculum. A test evaluated above 70 % will be considered successfully passed. Preparedness and active participation in class is also taken in consideration. Attendance of at least 70 % is required.
