- At the end of the course students can expect to walk away with a basic knowledge of the history and workings of the occult sciences as well as a set of skills with which to engage with these and similar topics.

- Week 1: What is the occult Week 2: Magic Week 3: Astrology Week 4: Alchemy Week 5: The occult revival of the 19th century Week 6: Modern approaches: Decoding the past
- Teaching methods (in Czech)
- The course will exist of a combination of lectures and class discussions. The literature provided with the course is paramount for understanding the subject matter and on the basis of this literature a certain degree of knowledge of the topics is expected.
- Assessment methods (in Czech)
- Students are required to (1) hand in a research paper at the end of the semester on one of the topics, or a related topic, discussed during the classes (2) Attend at least 70% of the classes and (3) to be prepared for, and active during, the discussions.
