- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the theoretical bases design educational process , trends in the world of education and work using critical s professional literature , practical exercises and project teaching to help them acquire the skills to design educational process in accordance with the educational needs of the target groups and Conditions Information society of the 21st century. Students should after successful completion of the course: 1) know the main pedagogical theories and approaches 2) understand the didactic methods and procedures and understand their usefulness in the field of educational informatics, 3) know the key trends in education and explain their impact on the area of educational science, 4) be able to reflect on educational methods and procedures for designing educational process with regard to the risks and needs of the target groups and educators, 5) orient in available resources, tools and networks with applying a critical approach and proper interpretation, 6) work in the study group and individually to a particular subject in the context of designing educational process, 7) propose a model of the educational process in particular educational environment of the current information society.
- Syllabus
- First Educational Informatics in context - key documents (White Paper, school legislation in the Czech Republic abroad, Strategy 2020) terminology, the context object embedded in constructivism.
- Second Pedagogical aspects of educational informatics - terminology , fundamental pedagogical theories and approaches with regard to their usefulness in educational pedagogy, teaching methods, forms of education in face-to- face and e -learning, target groups and their characteristics (eg, adult, disabled etc.) trends of Education (moderation and facilitation, mentoring etc.), innovative educational programs, cooperative and experiential learning, experiential learning, program kritickéo thinking) etc.
- 3rd Didactic aspects of educational informatics - terminology , educational objectives and content, teaching methods, organizational forms, contemporary art trends related to the didactic use of ICT
- 4th Psychological aspects of learning (teaching) in computer science education - educating interaction - education, external and internal conditions of education, learning and memory, self-management, motivation etc.
- 5 to 6 Key competences for the 21st century - not only in educational science - an overview, analysis and interpretation, consistency, specifications with regard to the target group education.
- 7 to 8 Mentoring skills, technological and didactic knowledge of the teacher / trainer training Science - planning, implementation and evaluation of instructional units, assessment of effectiveness of teaching selected teaching methods and aids, factors affecting learning (linked with courses focusing on technology in education).

- Teaching methods
- The fundamental form of the course and the methods used in them: - Lecture blocks - an interpretation task problematic issues - Practically oriented workshops (work with text and interactive teaching material - video, audio) to deepen the theoretical knowledge and gain the skills and attitudes in the context of the subject - group projects and studies - Critical theoretical texts (reading and interpretation of pre-assigned texts on the subject of the teaching unit), problem solving tasks, oral and written presentations and discussions in the face-to-face teaching, - Ongoing evaluation elements used in each class the semester.
- Assessment methods
- Final evaluation of the course takes the form of a colloquium, which contains three components: - Complete a written reflection on a given topic, - Oral presentation of the project - Knowledge-based interview. For completion of this course you should: 1) to develop ongoing tasks (especially critical labor source), 2) prepare a project, 3) actively participate in practical training modules of the course.
