Course objectives
At the end of the course student will be able to: to work with the German speaking literature; use historical Resources in German language;communicate a react to academic topics, work with information in the field of Ethnology and culture and German speaking country; the level of german proficiency according to CEFR is B2.
Syllabus
  • Verb forms: present tense, past tense in German, an overview.
  • Regular and irregular verbs.
  • Text analysis: Methoden der Volkskunde.
  • Verbs and past tenses: Perfekt, Präteritum, Plusquamperfekt.
  • Grammar exercises in the textbook EM Übungsgrammatik.
  • The verb werden in German, the funktion and meaning.
  • Passive forms: present and past tense.
  • Text analysis: Europäische Ethnologie und die Interkulturelle Kommunikation.
  • Modal verb in German: funtion and meaning of the verb können.
  • Grammar exercises in the textbook EM Übungsgrammatik.
  • Syntax: basic rules of sentence structure in German.
  • Grammar exercises in the textbook EM Übungsgrammatik.
  • Text analysis: Wer sind die Sudetendeutsche,Studienskript Volkskunde.
