Course objectives
Introduction to the numismatic, theory of this science, definition, the place of numismatic within the framework of the historical sciences, sources of numismatic, the history of numismatic, the basic literature; theory of the origin, development and function of money: Great Moravia, the Bohemian land in the Middle Ages, the modern period; the history of the monetary institutions, typology and metrology of the coinage; the monetary iconography as the source of historical knowledges.
