German for Academic and Specific Purposes II follows the course CJVN1B. Students do not have to have CJVN1B completed before enroling this course.

Course objectives
Students should have a B2 (Common European Framework of Reference) level of German language competence. The course is focused on academic text comprehension, ability to communicate and present academic topics. Student should be able to follow an academic discussion, understand the main ideas of academic texts of their field of study, interact with a native speaker fluently and spontaneously, and explain their opinion on current issues.

Discussions in class, conversation about the given topic, listening, reading assignements, grammar excercices, presentations prepared by students
Assessment methods
The credit course is completed by an exam. The exam has two parts – written (listening, reading and grammar) and oral (presentation + discussion on an academic/professional topic).

General note: Výstupní úroveň B2 podle ERR.Předmět je i pro ty studenty, kteří nemají absolvovaný předmět CJVN1B, středně pokročilá úroveň.
Information on course enrolment limitations: Nutná aktivní znalost němčiny na středoškolské úrovni - minimálně B1. Znalost bude ověřena vstupním testem, který se píše na začátku semestru, přesný termím bude včas sdělen. Bez úspěšného složení testu není účast na semináři možná.
