Course objectives
The purpose of this course is to orientate students in the art of the 19th and 20th centuries. At the end of this course students should be able to interpret important tendencies and works of this period.

  • 1. Clasicism a romantism; 2. Painting, sculpture and architecture of the second half of the 19th century; 3. Czech art of the 19th century; 4. Art in Europe of the first third of the 20th century; 5. Period between the two wars; 6. Czech art of the first half of the 20th century; 7.
