- Course objectives
- The course supplements and closes the two previous semesters devoted to theory of knowledge. The aim is to introduce students to the current state of the field by means of commented reading of key works of epistemology of the 20th century (James, Russell, Quine, Tichý). Special attention is paid to seminar work, i.e. understanding, interpretation a critical evaluation of crucial texts. After completing the course the students will be able to analyse works of modern epistemological theories and form the major questions and problems of human cognitive activities.
