Course objectives
This course provides a comprehensive overview of administrative institutions of the Catholic Church in Bohemia and Moravia from the Great Moravian period until the reforms of Joseph II. Institutional operations in the modern period are analyzed with regards to the code of the Canon Law as of 1983. The succinct overview covers the structures of the Utraquist and Neo-Utraquist Church, the Unity of Brethren, both Augsburg and Helvetian Confessions, the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and the Czechoslovak Hussite Church.
