Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the corpus of electronic databases available on the "Litterae ante portas" portal. At the end of the course, students will be able to work actively with the wide-ranging collection of databases that allow access to electronic versions of texts related to the Classical Greek, Early Byzantine, and Classical/Medieval/Modern Latin Literature as well as to texts pertaining to philosophy, history of art or music. Students will be able to compare various modes of locating information in these databases.

  • 1. History and clasification of the databases. Technical issues, most frequent problems of users. General principles of locating information in the databases.
