Předpokládá se znalost starořecké gramatiky v rozsahu předmětu REBcA27 (všechny deklinace, prézens, imperfektum, aorist aktivní a futurum, zájmena) a znalost novořečtiny. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The course provides students with normative grammar of the Attic Greek dialect of the Classical period. The focus is placed on practice of grammatical phenomena, particularly morphological, existing in Modern Greek. The aim of the course is to present the old phase of Greek language to students and thus contribute to their better understanding of the development of Modern Greek language. At the end of the course students should be able to: reproduce nominal and verbal paradigms studied within the course (vide syllabus of the course); explain grammatical rules studied within the course; recognize grammatical categories of the morphological forms studied within the course.

- Lectures, practice (grammar exercises, simple translations), drill.
- Assessment methods
- Credits are obtained by passing a written test at the end of the period. The test consists of a translation of simple sentences from Greek into Czech, identifying verb forms exercise and a translation of verb forms, declension of nouns and adjectives.
