Course objectives
Goal of this course is to teach students systematic observation and critical evaluation of films in the context of clinical symptoms.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
1) Work with information on film theory in order to gain a deeper understanding of presented films.
2) Interpret key moments of selected films.
3) Create a simple psychological profile of a film character
Syllabus
  • 1. Main principles and requirements of the course.
  • 2. Basic theoretical information on film theory.
  • 3. Basic theoretical information on film analysis.
  • 4. Basic theoretical information on how to create a profile.
  • 5. Practical analysis and interpretation of selected films.
