Course objectives
Objectives of the course are given the need for pedagogical-didactic foundations that students should ISK in preparation for the profession of librarian or information worker gain. Subject to its content helps students to these complex competencies: - Students will both understand the information education as a specific pedagogical and didactic direction to education to information literacy, and in libraries of all types even in environments other educational institutions, - Students will be able to utilize theoretical knowledge and build information literacy activities by different criteria with respect to target groups, themes, etc., And will therefore be able to apply didactic information education with regard to practice. The aim is also to clarify the broader perspective of foreign and Czech information policies, training and strategic documents and models relating to information literacy and information literacy. Part of the subject in his application level will be minor involvement of students in the preparation and implementation of partial organizational and professional activities Week information education at Masaryk University.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to the topic - anchoring the subject content within the field ISK in the context of teaching practice, terminology educational content, important points of information literacy, information literacy, information policy in   CR and abroad.
  • Development of information education, form and content of information education, current problems, questions, challenges, interdisciplinarity.
  • Status information literacy and research to   his discovery, standards and models of information literacy.
  • Information education in school, public and academic libraries, also in educational institutions, formal and informal education, or in a corporate environment.
  • Important institutions and conferences to promote information literacy, IVIG and its activities, specific projects of information education abroad and in   CR, Trends, 2015-2020 grant opportunities in information literacy and information literacy.
  • Chapters from the library pedagogy focusing on practice - teaching, educational practices, methods, learning objectives, key competencies.
  • Methodology of Information Literacy - Teacher Training for librarians, structure learning activities, lesson structure, uniqueness didactics of library education activities.
  • Planning, design and reflection proposals educational program to promote information literacy according to various criteria with respect to curricula and conditions of libraries and other institutions.
  • Use of ICT in information education activities related to the Information Education Week of FF

Information on course enrolment limitations: Předmět je v semestru jaro 2018 vypisován výhradně pro studenty, kteří jej potřebují ke splnění požadavků k přistoupení ke státní závěrečné zkoušce v semestru jaro 2018. Pro ostatní studenty bude opět vypsán standardní formou na podzim 2018.
