- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain the terms concetto and concettismo in the European art of the 17th and 18th century.
- Syllabus
- 1. The terms "concetto" and "concettismo" in the art of 17th and 18th century.
- 2. The concepts ("concetta") and their creators (Carl Gustav Haereus, Conrad Adolph von Albrecht and other).
- 3. The concepts ("concetta") and their creators at the Moravia (Martin Antonín Lublinský, Dionýsius Strauss).
- 4. Creation of the concepts ("concetta"): emblematic and baroque iconology.
- 5. The survived concepts ("concetta") and their analyse.
