Course objectives
Translate excerpts from African theatre for the festival Divadelní svět Brno, taking place in May 2019.
Learning outcomes
- Better knowledge of literary translation. - Reread and revised translations. - Professional staging of the plays.
Syllabus

Teaching methods
1) Reading and analysis of the texts. 2) Discussions of the methods of translation. 3) Collective workshop on translation.

The translation will be reread and marked by the teacher.
