- Course objectives
- The course is a consecutive course of Japanese Language III. from the previous semester. Throughout the semester students will enlarge their vocabulary, the main objective being the ability to formulate and express and one’s own ideas in Japanese language. The Japanese syllabaries hiragana and katakana will remain in the center of the lecures, which will also focus on an elementary knowledge of the Japanese characters kanji. After four semesters of Japanese language, students should be able to express themselves effortlessly verbally and as well as in writing. The final objective of the course is understanding of an unknown text of a general nature.

- Lectures combined with drills.
- Assessment methods
- The final examination will have a written and an oral form. The written examination will concentrate on a perfect mastery of hiragana, katakana and partly on the kanji characters. The test will be a condition for the advancement to the oral part of the examination.
