- Course objectives
- Comparative view on the lexicology of Czech, Croatian, Serbian and Bulgarian. Modern vocabulary, its development, international words, the newest trends in formating the vocabulary. Homonyms, phrases and idioms, the most important dictionaries. At the end of the course students will - be able to demonstrate the knowledge of Slavonic phonetics. - have a broader and more solid understanding of key aspects of linguistics. - have a broader and more solid understanding of key aspects of comparative study of Slavonic languages - be familiar with Slavonic grammar - contrast and compare Czech and other Slavonic languages
