Course objectives
The course aims, by way of microteaching and historical thinking concepts, to prepare students for school praxis in the 21st Century.
Learning outcomes
The graduate is acquainted with innovative methods of teaching and attempts during microteaching; cultivates skills, which builds historical and critical thinking.
Syllabus
  • Innovative methods in history teaching; the spectrum of didactic sources
  • Historical thinking in praxis (Peter Seixas Big Six Historical Thinking Concepts)
  • Microteaching providing by students, which are applicating various methods and sources (for example textbooks, exercise books, documents, maps, charts, artefacts, videos, audio, digital applications, research out of the school, oral history)
