- In order to be admitted to the Bachelor's state examination, a student must
a) gain credits prescribed by his/her study plan;
b) submit the Bachelor’s thesis, if he/she is a student of diploma form of study / major or single-study (completus) study plan. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The aim of the Bachelor's state examination is to prove whether a student have reached the learning outcomes of the Bachelor's programme Ancient History as prescribed by his/her study form / plan.
- Learning outcomes
- A successful student should be able to:
- continue successfully his/her studies in a Master's degree programme of Ancient History or a related field
- pursue a profession, which requires the completion of Bachelor's degree studies in humanities - Syllabus
- The state exam has two parts:
- 1. The defence of the Bachelor’s thesis (in case of diploma form of study / completus or major study plan)
- 2. Ancient History.
- The other part consists of these thematic areas: introduction to the study of Ancient History, history of the Ancient Near East and the Eastern Mediterranean, history of ancient Greece, history of ancient Rome and the Late Antiquity.
