- Course objectives
- The aim of the lectures is to evaluate the significance and transformation of the phenomenon of basic military service (ZVS) in the Czech lands in the years 1968-2004, based on the analysis and interpretation of various sources, against the background of different political regimes, ie the so-called socialist (communist) and democratic. Furthermore, the results of the study of the differences between the state-proclaimed idea of the meaning of ZVS and its practical impact on several generations of Czech men will be presented.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students will be able to characterize and describe a specific phenomenon, which was the basic military service in our country.
