Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide the student with various kinds of creative work, discussion, exploration and own experience. Students solve several creative challenges from previous semesters such as interventions in the public space (Bookboxes, Planetary path, corridor), product design (library tactical vest, morning cereals), organization of events (KISK25, propagation of libraries in maternity hospitals, hackathon, demonstrations), work with materials (design of clothing, book cover, FIMO material), work with technologies (LED lights, Arduino, LilyPad, Raspberry Pi), work with information (creation of instructions, games). Seminars devoted to creative challenges alternate with discussion seminars, creative agency visits, and personalities. On the basis of solved topics and challenges, at the end of the semester the student chooses the final project and develops a functional prototype. Creative challenges challenge the student from various problems he solves through different creative methods. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is not a deep understanding of new competencies for specific types of tasks, but an overview of creative methods and creative process, the ability to look at the problem from different angles, to test unusual solutions, technologies and materials, to get inspiration from others and to strengthen self- creative challenges.
