Course objectives
Slovenian/Croatian/Serbian/Bulgarian language course focused on the active spoken language – broadening of vocabulary, dialogues etc. The course complements Language Course B2 and concentrates on practical knowledge of the language.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course students should be able to describe new grammar phenomena acquired in this semester and use the knowledge in spoken and written interaction. By the means of acquiring new vocabulary and grammar they can create text or speak about related topics. Students are able to understand written text and interpret it.

  • 7. Natural environment,
  • 8. Culture and society.
  • Croatian:
  • Homonyms, Croatian cuisine, recipes, ordering food and drinks, shopping, stereotypes, writing of greeting-cards and filling in forms, planning the travelling, expressing wishes.
  • Serbian:
  • Introducing, everyday phrases, shopping, travel, family, expressing wishes.
  • Bulgarian:
  • Conversations in model situations from the areas: family, shopping, travelling, at the doctor, at school, abroad.

Teaching methods
Seminar (two hours per week), essays, home preparation, in the seminar a combination of teacher-led activities and student-centred/group learning activities will be employed.
Assessment methods
Regular attendance, homework and home preparation required. Upon fullfilling all requirements listed students must pass a final test.
