This course is primarily intended for students in the combined form of studies, who have an intermediate/upper-intermediate knowledge of German. This is a compulsory course with various language options for students of Bachelor's and Master's studies.

Course objectives
There are no classes in this course. An online e-learning course is aviable focusing on the development of linguistic and grammatical skills. The course corresponds to the language competencies according to the level B1/B2 at the European reference framework. Students should be able to communicate fluently and naturally with native speakers. The student is able to produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of academic and professional subjects, and can explain the current view of the problem with regard to the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
Learning outcomes
At the completion of the course, the students will be able: Read, understand and work with academic texts; Write a short texts (e.g. email correspondence, summary ).

Assessment methods
Students get credit after successful completion of the test focused on grammar - B1/B2. The test consist of 50 items focusing on grammatical structures on level B1 / B2 + reading.
