Course objectives
- Research and study of literature and sources with regard to the chosen research method of the dissertation
- Creating research design
- Independent research and the writing of the dissertation
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to:
- create a mind map of the research project;
- present the main publications that are relevant to the methodology of the dissertation project;
- introduce the research method and the procedure for its application in the framework of the dissertation project.

Teaching methods
Research, reading, consultations with the supervisor, participation in lectures, independent work on a research project, presentation of the results of work in front of classmates, discussion.
Assessment methods
- Attendance will constitute 50% of the overall assessment
- Presentation of the results of semesterly work on the collection of literature and sources
- Submission of a structured list of literature and sources to the supervisor (ČSN ISO 690 standard), in which the individual items are briefly commented on
- Submission of research design: research plan, description of the procedure, organization, and methods of research
