Course objectives
The seminar will focus on current events in Czech art and, if possible, even abroad. Visiting important exhibitions (not only in Brno and in Czech Republic) will be the starting point. After, students will prepare papers and reviews and discuss on the problems arising from the topics.
Learning outcomes
Students will learn how to evaluate contemporary art both in writing and verbally, they will be able to participate in discussions. They will be able to develop a final team project.

Teaching methods
Visiting exhibitions and studios, speaking with artists, oral and written homeworks. Presentation of the final team project.
