- Course objectives
- Students of the lecture will be able to understand to the Czech history of the 19th century in broader European context, to define political system in the Czech lands and the Habsburg monarchy, to compare modernization process in individual provinces of the monarchy, and to analyse the developtment of social structure of Czech and German society.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to understand the basic developmental trends in the history of the Czech lands, they will have a knowledge of the issues in the social, economic and political history of the Czech lands in the 19th century and within the wider context of the Austrian monarchy.
