Special attention is paid to seven ecumenical councils, acknowledged by the Orthodox Church. Gradual accretion of differences between the Western and Eastern Churches (resulting even in ecclesiastical schism) is being analysed during the lectures. Attention is paid to the orthodox liturgy and its graphic art and architecture.
