- Course objectives
- The course is a basic set of knowledge and skills for service design researchers (UX researchers). Under the guidance of lecturers from Masaryk University and from practice (e.g. Romana Trusinová, Heureka group), students will learn the basic techniques of working with quantitative data.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, learners will:
- be able to prepare a quantitative research plan
- be able to decide on the nature and type of the research sample and the method of recruitment,
- be able to prepare a quantitative research plan,
- be able to define research questions and hypotheses,
- be able to design a questionnaire correctly,
- analyze quantitative data in available applications and software,
- be able to navigate web traffic data (Google analytic and other tools),
- know the most common formats of standardized measurement scales used in UX and service design,
- be able to visualize quantitative information effectively. - Syllabus
