- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to examine in depth, using contemporary and scholarly texts, the events of the second half of the 20th century in China. The course builds on KSCA028 and develops the material covered in that course.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student will be able to analyze the major events in Chinese history in the second half of the 20th century to make connections between events and analyse the social and economic to consequences interpret contemporary texts
