Course objectives
The aim of the seminar is to increase the level of communication skills in Dutch for communication in employment. This is especially about the correspondence and the oral presentation. Students will learn basic business letters, applications and complaints, learn to write minutes of meetings according to the Dutch system.They will also learn the principles of business telephone communications.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to write all kinds of business letter, minutes of a meeting, presenting a product, for example. They will also be able to communicate on the phone business.

  • Correspondence How to write a letter
  • Information letter, request, complaint, bad news, place request, memo, fax. e-mail.
  • Business meeting Business negotiation plan, how business negotiations are taking place, minutes of the meeting

  • Presentation building, visual support, presentation types, presentation skills
