- Course objectives
- The course continues gives basic information on Polish declination, conjugation, word forming, and syntactic structures. The part of teaching are Polish texts and grammatical exercises.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course students will be able to:
- understand and explain grammatical structures adequate to the course level
- use information and lexis in communication with native speakers
- build correct grammatical structures
- interprete Polish texts
- read, write and speak in proper Polish
- know Polish orthography rules - Syllabus
- Nominative and accusative pl. of substantives, modifiers and personal pronouns
- Conjugation of irregular verb powinien
- Use of verbs prosić, musieć, trzeba, warto, powinien
- Future tense of perfective and imperfective verbs
- Dative of personal pronouns
- Forming of adverbs
- System of prepositions and their using
- Comparison of adjectives and adverbs
- Temporal and spatial relations in syntactic constructions
- Conditional mood
- Genitive pl. of substantives and modifiers

- The course is completed with a written exam (pass/fail line: 70 %). Control tests during the semester. Student is obligated to currently preparation for classes (homeworks) and class participation (2 absences allowed).
