Course objectives

The aim of the seminar is to enable students to develop their interpreting skills

Learning outcomes

Students are introduced to procedures that will allow them to effectively develop interpreting competences.

Syllabus

The seminar is a combination of theoretical preparation and practical exercises. Emphasis is placed on thorough preparation and creation of glossaries, as well as practicing real interpreting. It also includes a (self-)evaluation of the interpreter's performance.

Teaching methods

The seminar combines theoretical preparation and practical exercises.

Assessment methods

Attendance is compulsory (two absences). Students should meet assignment submission deadlines. Active approach is necessary.
