- Course objectives
- As part of the course, students will be introduced to the development of residential culture and furniture from 1989 to the present, with overlaps to the first post-war periods. The aim is to present basic trends and creators dealing with furniture and home accessories, in the context of period trends.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to:
- navigate the issues of furniture and housing in the Czech lands after 1989, including knowledge of changes in the post-war period
- identify and describe the most important developmental milestones determining the changes in housing culture from 1989 to the present, including post-war constraints
- know the most important personalities of Czech furniture and residential culture - Syllabus
