- Course objectives
- The goal of this course is to support development of interpreting and translation skills in higher and final stage of the study.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course a student will be able to manage selected model situations during interpreting and translations from Vietnamese language.
- Syllabus
- 1) Explanation of cultural and linguistical specifics influencing interpreting and translations from Vietnamese to European languages
- 2) Practical training of interpreting and translation of texts
- 3) Consecutive and simultaneous interpreting
- 4) Differences between community and legal interpreting
- 5) Checking of own individual interpeting skills
- 6) Assessment of individual target level of interpreting / translations and practical steps for its accomplishment
