- Course objectives
- The goal of this course is to develop skills of master-degree students to translate and interpret Lithuanian belle-lettres.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to understand and interpret contemporary Lithuanian literature (contemporary poetry and literary essay).
- Syllabus
- In the seminars, Lithuanian literary texts are read and analyzed. The analyzed texts change every semester, so it is possible to enroll in the course repeatedly. Recommended authors: Gintaras Beresnevičius, Ričardas Gavelis, Jurgis Kunčinas, Giedra Radvilavičiute, Alfonsas Andriuškevičius, Sigitas Parulskis, Kestutis Navakas.
