- Prerequisites
- The student knows the normal composition and function of the cell of eukaryotic organisms, physiological blood composition and function, heart and circulation function and its response to stress, function of the immune system and its importance for the human's health protection. The student can describe the physiological lung function, transport of respiratory gases by blood and the regulation of breathing, activity of the digestive system. He/she knows the principles of nutrition, transformation of substances and energy and their disorders, structure and function of the muscle tissue, structure and function of the excretory system.

- Course objectives
- At the end of the course Pschophysiology, students should be able to describe a structure and a function of human body functions in detail - from a cell level, across particular organs to a complex human organism and their relatioship to the psychic processes.
- Learning outcomes
- Students should be able to give reasons how a phsyiologcal processes of particular organ systems can change human’s behavior and vice versa.
