Course objectives
The subject is focused at mastering the speech skills in Czech laguage in individual and group utterances, the mimicry, improvisation abilities, capabilities to react adequately in various situations. Great attention is paid to correct articulation, intonation, playing with words, both word and movement improvisations. Interpretation of various poetic texts, acquaintance with various poetic authors – are also included in the programme. At the end of this course, students should be able to express themselves on various topics in different model situations and realize the possibilities of diverse processing of a poetic text.
Learning outcomes
Project, opportunity to participate in poetry theatre competition. Work with the body, space, speech skills, creative work with text, creative of the theatrically poetic script. Syllabus
  • 1. Text selection. 2. Short text interpretations. 3. Awareness of the word content and its expressing. 4. Expressing the feelings and emotions. 5. Space and time perception, perception of co-authors. 6. Monologue and dialogue plays. 7. Motional and space interpretation of the text. 8. Improvisation on given themes. 9. Setting a poetic piece or short show. 10. Mutual evaluation and observations; every lesson includes 2 hours of ate a week.
