- Course objectives
- After completing this course, the student will be able to:
- correctly read and write Ukrainian characters;
- greet, say goodbye and respond correctly in a communication situation using basic politeness clichés;
- introduce yourself, state your age and contact details;
- answer the question How are you?;
- operate with numbers 0-1 000 000;
- communicate about simple topics;
- name dishes of Ukrainian cuisine;
- name holidays in Ukrainian. - Syllabus
- Lexical topics: getting to know each other, basic activities, family, profession, food and drink, shopping, in a restaurant, in the city, hobbies, holidays, days of the week, months, seasons.
- Grammar: nouns (gender, number, declension), adjectives (gender, number), tenses of verbs (past, present and future), pronouns, numerals, basic adverbs.
