The course introduces students into methods of scientific writing.

At the end of the course student will be able to:

- choose and formulate topic of his/her research;
- explain methodology of research;
- characterise literature, sources and materials;
- formulte structure of diploma research;
- defend topics of diploma research.

Teaching methods
5 seminar lessons; at least two individual consultations with the supervisor.
Assessment methods
Credit is given based on the completion of specified tasks: - completion of tasks within the common lessons; - submission of the following written documents: outline of the thesis, list of bibliographic sources of the thesis (at least 80% of the sources), at least 5 normal pages of the text of the thesis. These documents are to be handed in by the student at the end of the semester (or at the set date of the examination period), to the supervisor(s) of the thesis).
