- Course objectives
- Examine contemporary trends of dramaturgy in Performing Arts.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will learn the crucial trends in contemporary arts and performing arts, thinking why they are became a trends, how indivdually and criticaly thinking about those trends and also how to indentificate and searching for new trends.
- Teaching methods
- Reading of selected texts and their analysis (English, Czech), research method, video demonstrations, attendance of selected performances, collective and group discussion, etc.
- Assessment methods
- Active participation in discussions (based on reading texts, background research, and analysis of recordings).
- 1-2 times "short paper" as a preface to a discussion about the text, performance, chosen phenomena and formulation of questions.
- Essay about the chosen performing arts production (analysis based on concrete trend). - Náhradní absolvování
