Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to conduct research and innovation projects. The course focuses on the presentation of strategic documents of the development of the Czech Republic and the European Union and on the presentation of grant opportunities for research, development and innovation projects.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to:
- describe and compare the basic strategic documents of the development of the Czech Republic and the European Union;
- list the main granting bodies for research and innovation projects and compare the parameters of each programme;
- write a grant application.

Assessment methods
The student will receive an assessment of which 50% will be based on attendance and 50% on the completion of the following tasks: researching grant calls, writing and submitting a grant application for a research or innovation project.
