- Course objectives
- In his/her doctoral dissertation, the student submits conclusions of his/her own research, to which his came during his/her studies. The dissertation must substantiate his/her professional competences to implement, treat, and present the results of the ethnologic research and its appropriate support in methodology. Submitting the dissertation the student proves his/her orientation in history, theory, and methodology of the ethnographic research, and his/her capability and readiness for independent activity in the realm of research and for autonomous theoretical, creative and publication activity. The text of the doctoral dissertation must be at excellent level in terms of grammar and stylistics. The doctoral student continuously consults the preparation of his/her doctoral dissertation, the course of work and the editing with his/her supervisor. It is recommended the doctoral student to enrol in the subject course only at the end of his/her studies.

In accordance with the rules of the FF and the internal instruction of the ÚEE, the electronic version of the dissertation (IS MUNI) and 2 printed copies bound in hard boards are submitted, which are accepted by the supervisor.
