Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquire skills that allow students to perform or publish on radio, television or in the daily press in the form of comments, polemics or discussions on current issues and problems of the study area.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will be able to actively cooperate with the media. They will acquire the ability to write comments, polemics or participate in discussions.
Syllabus
  • Preparation of comments or polemics after consultations with the tutor. Discussion on a selected topic with colleagues from doctoral studies. Publication of a commentary or polemical article in a newspaper, appearances on radio or television.

Teaching methods
Preparation of a commentary and a polemical article. Negotiations with media editors. Participation in a discussion on a problematic topic from the studied area, first with colleagues in a seminar, later in a discussion in the media.
Assessment methods
Credit is awarded by the supervisor after the publication of comments, polemics or appearances on radio or television.
