- Course objectives
- The course aims to introduce various documents and teach students to correctly identify the documents and records because it's important for their description, organization, and effective retrieval. Students also learn about the properties of different types of documents and the specifics of their acquisition and dissemination.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to:
- define basic concepts and describe the fundamentals of building collections,
- understand the specifics of working with electronic documents in collections,
- describe the process of purchasing commercial information resources,
- recognise the specificities of pictorial and audio-based documents,
- to see data as a significant information resource,
