- Course objectives
- Students submit their proposals (typically with a peer-reviewed 2 page abstract; sometimes called "paper" and sometimes indeed a real paper) to an international conference on the topic they are working on. Typically, the international conference has international (western) organisers and is organised in (western) Europe. So-called predatory conferences or conferences without an international impact are excluded. It may be a conference for doctoral students/postdocs. The conference talk (i.e. presentation) is typically 20-30 minutes long (incl. discussion), typically with a projected presentation. (If substantiated, poster presentation is accepted.) It is possible to register only after successfully completing the course International Conference.
- Learning outcomes
- After passing the course, the students will be able: to present their research outcomes at the international forum.
